The City of Saint Paul (‘the City’) is now soliciting proposals from organizations and individuals to develop and implement a robust community engagement initiative in support of the CARP update and the development of the five-year action plan. Our community has experienced events over the past five years that highlight the urgency for robust climate action and intentional community involvement, emphasizing the need for solutions that address systemic inequalities exacerbated by climate change. This effort recognizes that the success of the CARP hinges as much on the active participation of the Saint Paul community as it does on scientific solutions. Through an innovative and inclusive process, the City aims to gather a wide array of perspectives, ensuring the plan not only reflects our diverse community but also galvanizes collective action towards resilience and climate mitigation.
