Specifications include, but are not limited to: In an effort to improve the indoor air quality at Bacon Academy, the Colchester Board of Education is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to provide proposals for the installation of seven (7) Trane rooftop condensing units and DX cooling coils in the existing noted air handlers along with a full replacement of RTU F1. Replacement of seven existing condensing units along with their DX coils. Retrofit of existing AHUs with new DX Coil and installation of Condensing Units ● Each Trane rooftop condensing unit will require all new mechanical piping to the new Trane DX coil, along with the installation of raceway for communication and from the power panel to the disconnect. ● Each Trane rooftop unit needs to be installed to manufacturers specifications including the setting and the securing of each unit to the roof and structure. All roof penetrations (pitch boxes) and other exterior wall penetrations must be sealed and inspected before completion. ● Each unit will require power circuits and disconnecting means installed from dedicated power panels ● Provide a new raceway for communication / controls to our existing building management system (BMS) Alerton .
