Specifications include, but are not limited to: Item #1: High Pressure Water Jetter Trailer, Skid Mounted or Self-Propelled. Item #2: High-Pressure Water Jetter Truck Mounted. 1.1. Unit must be trailer, skid, self-propelled or truck mounted. 1.2. The Contractor must include suggested truck chassis requirements on the pricing pages for each truck mounted model submitted. Information should include the Year, Make, Model, Engine, Transmission, etc. 1.3. Truck mounted units must not include cab and chassis in the base price. Cab and chassis may be offered as an option using the options tab found in the Exhibit D: Price Schedule or State agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture members may purchase cab and chassis using the State contract for cab and chassis. 1.4. Unit must be either engine or PTO powered. 1.5. Trailer units must have a tongue jack. 1.6. Units must have lighting that meets ICC specifications. 1.7. Water pump must have protection from cold weather. 1.8. On units having an auxiliary engine, a protective shroud that is easily removable must be provided. 1.9. Auxiliary engines must have sound suppression/muffler system. 1.10. Jet hose must exceed pump P.S.I rating. 1.11. Tank fill must have an anti-siphon device. 1.12. Manufacturer’s standard paint color is acceptable, but the paint must be lead free. 1.13. The Contractor must ensure the equipment meets all current Federal and State of Minnesota safety codes. 1.14. All Strobe lights and LED lights must be able to be certified as system component to SAE Class 1 or 2. 1.15. The Contractor must give adequate training in operation, safety, maintenance, mounting and removal of supplied equipment. 1.16.
