Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Lexington (Town) is seeking proposals from experienced groups for the design and execution of a mural on an exterior wall, and the design and execution of an activation plan on the respective surrounding area of a privately-owned building in East Lexington. Groups may assume this mural will be produced in your studio and installed on a frame (or other method of installation) at the location. Groups will suggest the appropriate preparation of the space and submit design concepts for both the mural and the activation area. The activation design should push the boundaries of land use, and explore new possible uses for such space. The proposal should include fees, site preparation costs, supplies and materials, any travel-related expenses, and associated costs. Once hired, the muralist will prepare a detailed design and install packet, which must be acceptable to the property owner, the Town of Lexington, and all responsible committees. This would enhance the surrounding area to encourage users on the Minuteman Bikeway to stop and utilize the commercial offerings that Lexington provides
