Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Richmond is requesting proposals from qualified wastewater engineering consultants to assist with engineering, design, and project support services for the Water Resource Recovery Division of the Public Works Department. The City is looking for qualified engineering design firms (multiple) to be available on an as-needed basis. The City anticipates a wide breadth of projects including but not limited to developing sewage holding tank standards, FEMA emergency projects, sewer and storm collections system improvements, storm drainage improvements, site analysis, preparation of conceptual and schematic designs, coordination of contractors and subcontractors, construction support, as well as other tasks as yet unspecified Public Works projects. The contract amount is a maximum of $600,000 annually for each selected firm. The duration of the contract is anticipated to be three (3) years with the City’s option to extend annually for each of the subsequent two (2) years.
