Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide restoration planning, design and other technical support services for fish passage remediation and habitat enhancementon an on-call or an “as needed” basist. The Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) implements a number of capital and operational projects and programs to meet its mission and goals in water supply, flood protection and watershed stewardship. The on-call services provided pursuant to this Agreement will augment the services of Valley Water staff and provide additional project planning, design, and construction support services as needed. Project objectives are to improve fish passage conditions and aquatic habitat in selected Santa Clara county streams. These services will be requested on an “as-requested” or “as-needed basis” to assist Valley Water in support of fish passage impediment analysis and prioritization studies is needed to provide on-call support for the Safe, Clean Water and Natural Floodplain Protection Program, Priority D4, Restore wildlife habitat and provide open space access and other fish habitat and fish passage studies and implementation projects for tasks that may require expertise not available internally or exceed existing internal resource capacities.
