Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Quincy, acting through the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), is soliciting Qualifications from Landscape Architects for a Heritage Tree Planting program and associated parklet design project to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the City’s settlement. The qualifications-based selection of consultant professional services may include, but are not limited to, landscape design services, tree and plant material recommendation, hardscape design and recommendation, design development, final design documents to be bid under MGL Chapter 30, Section 39M, public bid support services, construction administration and construction oversight services, and any other related services or processes contemplated in MGL Chapter 7C. The parklets are expected to include a signature heritage tree planting (6-10” in caliper); appropriate drip irrigation; and possibly benches, masonry, sod, flowering plants, and interpretive signage. The average size of the parklet will be 800-1200 square feet.
