Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor will be responsible for Goose control in Greensboro Country Park, Greensboro Hester Park and Forest Lawn Cemetery. Country Park is 200 acres and has two 6 acres lakes, Hester Park is 87 acres and has one 6 acre lake with an island in the center. Forest Lawn is adjacent to Country Park and is 80 acres. The contractor will provide the following: 1. Contractor can use dogs, kayaks or remote control boats to encourage Canadian Geese to leave the above listed parks. 2. Contractor will visit the parks a minimum of 6 days a week or up to 7 days a week if geese continue to be a problem. Contractor will contact staff when on site to let staff know when they are on site. 3. Contactor will use the above mentioned methods to encourage geese to leave yearround. During molting season contractor will encourage geese that walked into the park to walk back out of the park. 4. During nesting season contractor is required to search for nests and to addle the eggs in the nests. They need to provide a copy of the required federal permits and keep the appropriate paperwork. 5. Contractor will be available to make additional trips to above listed parks if geese continue to be a problem. The contactor will need to provide an on-call telephone number. The staff at the parks will be able to contact contactor when there is a goose problem and the contractor will arrive at the park within two hours. The contractor will be available to provide after hour visits if needed.
