The Department of Administration requests proposals for the production and logistics of the Minnesota Boating Guide on behalf of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The scope includes printing, binding, finishing, distributing, and storage services. The anticipated need is for approximately 200,000 copies annually, subject to variation based on demand. Sample Tasks and Deliverables. • The printing facility must be located within the seven (7) county metropolitan area. • The storage facility must also be situated within the same seven (7) county metropolitan area. • Services should encompass provision of materials, complete printing and binding processes, labeling, and delivery. • Collaboration with the DNR’s designated representative is required for all facets of the guide’s production and distribution. • All production materials must be returned to the DNR upon completion. • The quality of printing should meet high commercial standards. • The provider must be equipped to expedite orders and deliveries when necessary. • Overruns are not permissible. • Packaging materials, including shipping cartons and labels, must be of exceptional quality.
