Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected proposer will assist the OEEJ in the creation of two applications. The first application is a version 3.0 of the existing CT EJScreen tool, developed by UConn CIRCA. This updated EJScreen will provide a visual representation of spatial distributions of environmental factors, climate health vulnerabilities, and social determinants of health across CT. The second application, Cumulative Impacts Tool, will then take, as relevant, the layers used in EJScreen and create risk indices based on a selected methodology to be defined by the proposer. The Cumulative Impacts Tool must be able to identify communities that are at higher risk of environmental and public health burdens and provide location-based reports for all communities. Service Outcome Goal 1: The selected proposal will develop a new iteration of EJScreen that includes the following: • Data Sets – The existing EJScreen incorporates data sets provided by a committee of state agency partners; DEEP would like to continue to use these and ensure a maintenance schedule for those datasets subject to regular change and verification from agency partners. Additional datasets may need to be obtained and processed for inclusion in the Screening Tool...
