The Groton Parks and Recreation Department is seeking consulting services to assess the current financial and operational practices of the Shennecossett Golf Course, with the ultimate goal of improving player experience. and align them with industry best practices for managing a public golf course. The consultant will collaborate with the elected officials, course management, user groups (including individual and tournament players and season pass holders,), as well as the GAB and Women’s and Men’s Clubs. The objective is to gather essential facts and data to produce a comprehensive report focused on player experience This report will include recommendations for future capital investments, a review of financial and operational data, specific suggestions for operational improvements aligned with industry standards, enhancements to service levels, and an evaluation of overall course operations effectiveness.
