Providing technical assistance and consultation services to CPW in the development of a new Strategic Plan through a comprehensive planning process that facilitates dialogue with and incorporates internal staff input as well as external public, tribal partners and stakeholder input. By developing a new Strategic Plan with the assistance of an outside consultant, CPW aims to increase public trust and buy-in with the agency’s goals and processes, as well as improve the agency’s service to the people of Colorado and their natural resources. The primary outcome will be a new Strategic Plan that is better aligned with the agency’s current and future challenges and needs. The Strategic Plan will outline how CPW can best use its resources to serve the public, and protect parks and wildlife resources by developing goals, priorities, objectives and strategies. The Department may award to a single vendor capable of fulfilling the Agency’s project needs. The Department reserves the right to add additional services that would be seen as a natural extension of this procurement over the term of this award.
