This project consists of repair of approximately 26 window openings with different levels of repair needs based on existing conditions. -Contractor agrees to complete this project and turn the building back over to the City of Salisbury by the end of the fiscal year June 1 2025 with no window being out for more than 6 weeks. Windows that are out for longer than 6 weeks will incur a $25 a day fee against the contract amount. Unless an extension is granted by the designated City of Salisbury representative. -Windows that are removed and taken offsite remain property of the City of Salisbury. If for any reason the contract is canceled any window removed will be returned to the City of Salisbury. -Windows that are not facing Main St. can be repaired offsite as long as proper board up procedures are followed to prevent security and water intrusion issues. (Board Up Procedures are outlined in the Repairing Offsite Section) -Windows facing Main St. are requested to be repaired onsite to prevent boarding up the front of City Hall -Windows should be made operable. All new hardware should be matching to size, color, and material, to the existing hardware -Work should be planned to avoid adverse weather conditions that could damage exposed interiors.
