Specifications include, but are not limited to: Complete demolition of Conveyor Belts and any associated supports over Shed 7, including A Belt (up to the first stanchion on the other side of the access road from the building), V Belt, and T Belt. • Obtain necessary building permits and air quality clearances. • Demolish A, V, and T Belts along with any associated supports into the building's roof structure. • While there is a ladder to the roof and conveyor belts, if any additional scaffolding, lifts, or special equipment is needed, the contractor shall provide these items. • Please refer to the attachment section (Attachment A) for the Asbestos Report provided for any abatement requirements needed for Air Quality Clearance. • Please refer to the attachment section (Attachment B) for an image outlining the scope of the demolition needed. • The disposal of the conveyors and all construction waste shall form part of the contractor's scope of work. • Materials must be disposed of in accordance with state and city construction debris recycling requirements. • The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of all workers and equipment during the entire project's duration. • Port Operations shall grant the contractor the necessary access to the site and shall advise on the start date of the works based on any scheduling needs.
