A. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision, necessary to remove the existing damaged water treatment system. The upgraded system shall be code compliant with both state and county regulations. The new system shall be National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) compliant. B. The Contractor shall, install new water softener and the system shall be Twin Progressive Flow 2162/WS15P/12V/1.5". C. The Contractor shall remove two (2) inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) inside the building and shall install new two (2) inch copper pipe to replace it. D. The Contractor shall tie into the current system and run it to the softener building. E. Any excavating shall be done prior to the start date by CAL FIRE Water and Sewage Plant Operator (WASPO) and Stationary Engineer. F. The Contractor shall install a new water treatment system and redo water lines in the water treatment room. Contractor shall reroute water lines to the conditioner building. G. Any damage created by the Contractor to existing sidewalks, curbs, buildings, or appurtenances shall be repaired to match the existing and shall be the Contractor’s responsibility. H. The Contractor shall remove all debris and trash from the site upon completion of work. I. The Contractor shall complete all work within the scheduled time frame, weather permitting. J. CALFIRE will supply power and water sources for construction and bathroom facilities for crew workers.
