Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will have a leaf collection crew and equipment, (hereinafter called the “leaf crew”), available for use under the Contract beginning November 1st, 2024, and shall remain available through December 23rd, 2024. This crew will consist of two (2) leaf collection trucks with leaf boxes, one (1) industrial leaf vacuum, two (2) drivers, and three (3) laborers to rake leaves. The Contractor shall have spare unit equal to the unit listed below in case of breakdown. B. LOCATION OF WORK The services will be performed in various residential subdivisions, streets and locations throughout the City, as directed by the City. C. SCHEDULE OF WORK The City will give the Contractor seven (7) calendar days’ notice prior to a requested work date. The Contractor must make the leaf crew available to work on the requested dates. Failure to do so may, at the City’s discretion, result in the termination of the contract. Once leaves put out for pick-up starts to get heavy, the Contractor generally (not guaranteed) will be used 4 to 6 days per week. The contractor will work 8 to 9 hours on each day requested. The starting time for work will not be before 7:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and will not be before 9:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. on weekends.
