Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City requires the availability and services of a Contractor to provide supplemental snow removal services during the winter weather seasons of fiscal years 2025, 2026 and 2027 (each a “Winter Season”). The Contractor shall provide the Services upon request by the City when roadway snow accumulations of two (2) or more inches are anticipated by the City. The duration of each Winter Season is shown below. FY 2025 November 15, 2024 April 15, 2025. FY 2026 November 15, 2025 April 15, 2026. FY 2027 November 15, 2026 April 15, 2027. When the Services are required, the City will provide the Contractor with as much notice as possible; however, should the City require the Contractor to report to work immediately, the Contractor’s personnel assigned to work under the Contract (“Personnel”) shall have four (4) hours from the time of such noti�ication to report to the City’s Public Works Facility, which is located at 800 Rabbitt Road Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878 (“Public Works”). Failure to report within the four (4) hour time frame may result in, at the sole discretion of the City, termination of the Contract. Upon arrival at Public Works, all Personnel shall check in with the Public Works Operations Division Chief or designee (“Division Chief or Designee”) to log their start time and to demonstrate all equipment is completely operational and prepared to provide the Services.
