GRDA is seeking bids for a full inspection/diagnosis for our Weiler Hydro Ax unit, and parts and repairs as needed and approved by GRDA to fix the unit. The extent of the repairs needed will not be known until the unit is disassembled and inspected. Unit Information: Serial# 1W90B670PK0001671; 2020; Weiler; B670 Some preliminary diagnostics suggest that this unit has had a likely hydraulic pump/motor failure, causing metal shavings to be sent through the hydraulic system. Damage to multiple motors, pumps, and valves is expected. In addition to the replacement or rebuilding of these components, a flush of the hydraulic system and replacement of some hoses is also anticipated. This unit will have to be transported to a specialty shop that is equipped to repair forestry machinery. The transportation of this unit will need to be provided by the vendor that is awarded the contract both from and to GRDA facilities.
