Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Window Re place me nt – Vinyl Double -Hung Window w/ Screen 1. Remove, package, and dispose of sashes, parting bead and inner stops. 2. Remove existing rope and pulley system and insulate pockets. 3. Install a PVC, one-over-one, double hung, double-glazed window with piggyback storm window and 1/2 screen. 4. Caulk all seams with siliconized acrylic caulk. Install inner stops; if original inner stops are reused, edges are to be sanded smooth and nail holes/dents puttied. 5. Prime and top-coat interior stops with high quality latex or alkyd paint. 6. Vinyl window replacements must meet Northern Zone Energy Star® Version 6 requirements. 7. Window should be Polaris Dynaweld or equivalent manufacturing. 8. Follow local building code permit requirements for compliance.
