Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Perform an aircraft delivery inspection, extensively photograph aircraft exterior, define any external visible damage prior to removing paint, and review final color & paint schemes 2. Prepare the exterior of the aircraft for chemical / scotch bright strip: a. Cover all windows with 4 layers of protective film and 3M foil tape to prevent stripper contact b. Cover all fiberglass, plastic, and antennae with protective barrier and HD foil tape to prevent stripper contact c. Seal all critical joints and skin laps with 3M foil tape to prevent stripper ingress d. Cover landing gear, cowl and propeller to prevent stripper ingress 3. Chemically strip the aircraft with HybridAero HYBRID-STRIP, Boeing & Lockheed Martin approved environmentally friendly stripper 4. Remove all flight controls and flaps from aircraft 5. Clean aircraft down to bare metal: a. Lightly sand between rivet rows with 320 grit sand paper removing all paint residue and corrosion b. Scotch bright rivet rows removing all paint residue and surface corrosion 6. Degrease, pressure wash, water break test, etch and Alodine aircraft 7. Prep for primer / 6 hours of body repair 8. Sand all fiberglass down to gelcoat filling voids and repairing minor flaws 9. Scuff plastic and fill voids 10. Prime aircraft with PPG Chrome Hazard Free Corrosion Inhibitive Epoxy Primer...
