This work consists of furnishing all mobilization, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, tools, overhead and indirect costs, and incidentals necessary to prune or remove trees and stumps, as may be designated by the City of Opelika specifications herein. The City estimates that approximately $75,000 - $150,000 of tree work will be required yearly. This contract will run for one (1) year with the option of two (2) one (1) year extensions (12 months to possibly 36 months) beginning upon approval and ending September 30, 2027. The City will authorize all or a portion of the total over the duration of the Contract based on need and available funding. Trees to be removed will be marked with an orange paint dot at eye level on the trunk side facing the street. Trees to be pruned will be marked with a white paint dot at the base of the tree facing the street. The tree list will provide the street name, address, and diameter of the tree to be removed or pruned. The contract for work shall be carried out in conformance with the ordinances of the City and the details and specifications in effect on the date of the invitation for bids
