Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to contract with a qualified Responder to furnish and deliver corrugated library book trays, per a finalized agreed upon schedule, to the Offsite Collections Facility (OCF). The Offsite Collections Facility (OCF) will be the delivery point for all items on this Contract and is located at the southeast corner of Como Ave. SE and 29th Ave. SE, Minneapolis, MN. The University will bundle the requested order for the following trays: A Tray, B Tray, C Tray, D-Minor Tray, and E Tray. OCF will regularly be receiving certain sizes of trays based on the provided timeline. The Responders to this RFP should note that the timeline can be changed for an efficient overall delivery. The University has estimated ~306 pallets of trays (~112,000) required for this Project. However, the awarded Contractor will need to have their deliveries in manageable quantities of pallets and trays. Additionally, the University is interested in Responders who can provide additional materials associated with the trays such as handles, backing plates, and washers.
