Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all tasks pertaining to the operations of the Disposal Facilities. This shall include the following: Accept solid waste from the City of Mesa Solid Waste Department and City of Mesa residents at a Disposal Facility; If the Disposal Facility is a transfer station, Contractor is responsible for providing transportation of solid waste from the transfer station to the Disposal Facility; and Disposal of solid waste accepted from the City of Mesa and its residents at a Disposal Facility. The City does not guarantee the quantity, character, or quality of solid waste to be delivered to any selected facility or in general. Contract(s) may be awarded to multiple vendors to allow the City to operate efficiently in the delivery of services to their customers.
