The joints will be packed with the new mortar in lifts to leave no voids and to allow for shrinkage of the mortar. The tooling of the joint will match the existing. The limestone joints will be filled with the proper size backer rod and caulked with a urethane caulk. Joints will be taped when applying caulk to keep as neat as possible. Joints will be tooled to a smooth finish. Color will be as close to limestone as possible.
