Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide certified temporary engineering technician personnel, on an as needed basis, to supplement Department staff in the development of projects statewide, which includes the Department's six (6) Districts, General Office and surrounding areas. All work shall be performed in accordance with current NMDOT accepted methods, requirements, guidelines and procedures for the support of the project development of the NMDOT construction program. 2. Support services for augmentation personnel will include direct project development oversight on inhouse projects within the regions and Districts, functional support for Environmental Bureau investigations & surveys, functional support for utility coordination, functional support for ROW acquisition including but not limited to title research, appraisal reviews, and acquisition services, functional support for Traffic Technical design section, functional support for drainage design section, functional support for bridge design section, functional support for geotechnical design section, functional support for pavement design section, and functional support for survey section. 3. Augmentation personnel shall be restricted to only work on project(s) in which an approved task order (Department Form A-1151) has been completed and issued by the NMDOT. It shall be the sole responsibility of the consultant and their personnel to be fully aware of and track assigned project(s) for projects development and support/augmentation services. Under no circumstances shall the Department be financially responsible for the consultant and their personnel in providing services for a project(s) that has not been authorized or has been closed by the Department.
