The City of Milpitas ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified proposers ("Proposer") in response to this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to evaluate Forcemain-A (FM-A) for replacement or rehabilitation and provide professional design services and construction support for the Project. The City anticipates selecting up to (1) firm per phase to provide consulting services, including planning, design, environmental impact analysis, and construction services, whose qualifications demonstrate they are the most qualified, responsive and advantageous to the City. The Consultant will be responsible for working with City staff in various departments and neighboring agencies in the preparation and design of the Plan. Consultants may be an all-in-one services provider or may manage qualified sub-consultants as team members who are responsible to the selected primary Consultant or may collaborate with separate consultants reporting to the City. The City is seeking to complete the initial feasibility study and project planning phase by the end of 2024, and the design and environmental permitting phase by the end of 2025. The City plans to award the Project for construction in early 2026.
