Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1 - Introduction All Points Transit is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to secure a contractor (“Contractor”) to provide Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) services for the construction of a new transit center located at 1665 East Oak Grove Rd, Montrose, CO. This project encompasses the development of a state-of-the-art transit hub to accommodate increased service demands and future expansion needs. The selected Contractor will be required to collaborate closely with All Points Transit and the Stantec design team to maximize project value and integrate as many sustainable and innovative solutions as possible within budgetary constraints. The partnership will also focus on future expansion possibilities during the planning stages. In the Pre-construction phase, coordination among All Points Transit, the Stantec team, and the Contractor will be critical to map out the project's execution strategy to ensure it is cost-effective, efficient, and aligns with community needs. 1.2 - Project Goals All Points Transit’s goals for the transit center project include: 1. Ensuring safety and quality are the highest priorities. 2. Completing the design and construction on time, within budget, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. 3. Creating a facility that supports the expansion of transit services for at least the next 50 years without significant modifications. 4. Aiming for substantial completion within a predetermined timeframe, currently estimated at 18 months. 5. Utilizing value engineering to maximize the project's value within the approved financial plan. 6. Fostering strong, positive relationships among all project stakeholders (Stantec, project managers, community representation, etc.) through effective collaboration and communication
