Specifications include, but are not limited to: The evaluator's responsibilities include: • Clarifying program goals and identifying measures of success in collaboration with DEED. • Designing evaluation methodologies and creating data collection tools. • Analyzing data and statistics from program implementations on an annual basis. • Reporting program outcomes based on multiple measures. • Compiling an annual report on program progress towards goals. Evaluation Activities: • Collecting and analyzing student achievement data, including literacy assessments and English learner progress. • Collaborating with partners to gather relevant information. • Conducting annual interviews with DEED staff and surveys with district leadership and educators. • Reviewing project documentation for additional insights on implementation. Data Analysis: • Analyzing both quantitative (e.g., descriptive statistics) and qualitative data (e.g., thematic summaries). • Providing DEED with an annual report on the evaluation findings. Data Collection: • Only adults will be involved in survey and interview procedures, which are voluntary. • Student-level data will be limited to existing achievement records. • Stringent procedures will be followed to ensure data security and confidentiality.
