Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Contractor shall accept all uncontaminated dirt. Loads may contain concrete, however; asphalt, trees, trash and other contaminants will not be accepted. The Contractor’s dump site location shall be operated in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, regulations, standards and ordinances. B. All materials will be hauled to the Contractor’s facilities by VDOT single or tandem axle dump trucks or VDOT hired single axle, tandem axle, tri-axle or quad-axle dump trucks. C. The Contractor’s facilities shall be located within close proximity, but no more than 30 miles driving distance of the VDOT Loudoun Residency located at 41 Lawson Rd. SE, Leesburg VA 20175. The Bidder shall provide a list of their available drop off facilities, their physical addresses, and indicate any daily load or site limitations with their bid documents on Attachment A. D. For each load received, the VDOT driver or VDOT hired truck driver shall be given a printed ticket from the Contractor indicating the truck number and date of disposal with signature. E. The unit price per load shall include any environmental fees, equipment fees, fuel and any additional costs associated with providing this service. No additional charges will be allowed. F. Once the material is deposited at the Contractor’s site, it shall become the property of the contractor. G. Contractor’s disposal methods shall conform to applicable laws and regulations.
