1. All picture frames to be ordered in the following manner: a. Picture frames only (frame, glazing and mounting hardware). b. Picture frames with items to be framed and mounted in frame: to include (frame, glazing and mounting hardware). 2. All picture frames to be constructed in various sizes and to come in various colors and finishes. Frames to be constructed of oak and walnut hardwoods. Frames that are to be painted shall be constructed from a "clear" or "better" grade of hardwood. All hardwood grades shall be "clear" or "better". Picture matting shall be done by request only. 3. Plexi-glass to be used to reduce the weight of the framed item. Glass to be used in all frames except where plexi-glass is used to reduce the weight of frame. Grade of plexi-glass to be of "glazing" grade. 4. All items for framing shall be mounted in frames by the vendor. All frames ordered by specific size shall be in writing by requestor on sub-purchase order and confirmed when frames are picked up. 5. All mitered corners to be tight and flush. 6. Any deviations from frame styles shall not be accepted unless approved by City representative. 7. All frames constructed shall have appropriate hardware attached to the back of frames so that frames are ready for mounting. Appropriate hardware to be a section of wire which spans the frame and is attached by fasteners on both sides of frame and/or a metal clip attached to the back of the frames for the purpose of mounting frame to wall. 8. Frame prices shall include labor charges.
