Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) is publishing direct award determination for Wellness Together, Inc. to provide professional development and training concerning Tier 2 students supports for teachers and licensed therapists using evidence-informed curricula. Laughing Together is providing a unique opportunity to demonstrate Tier 2 student supports for students struggling with decision making and anxiety all while entertaining and including conference participants. This speaker will addresses the impact of school personnel on students that are at-risk. A competing speaker would need to have a deep understanding of how to use comedy and improv techniques to support students struggling with mental health as well as how to support school teams as they implement a targeted plan for students. This training will provide a fresh look at how to best support students using innovative practices, insights and takeaways.
