Specifications include, but are not limited to: Prepare traffic control plans (TCP) for temporary construction based on either design plans, GIS maps, as-builts, field conditions, etc., provided to consultant by LBUD. Prepare traffic detour and control plans and specifications, as needed for projects, in accordance with the most recent version of all applicable standards, including but not limited to Caltrans Standard Plans and Specifications, California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD), and the City of Long Beach Public Works Standard Plans Section 340-386 (LB Standard Plans). Provide traffic control design that has been prepared, reviewed, stamped, and signed by a Registered Civil Engineer or Registered Traffic Engineer licensed by the State of California. Assist LBUD in coordinating and acquiring all permits required by the City of Long Beach, Department of Public Works, and/or by the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS), depending on work location. Provide traffic control field services per the CA MUTCD, part 6 - temporary traffic control, LB Standard Plans, and in accordance with the accepted TCP.
