Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work provided herein consists, in general, of removing sidewalk locations due to tree roots or settlement caused by subgrade failures (various locations citywide). Scope of Work Anticipated: 1. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, and equipment necessary to provide Concrete Saw-Cutting and Shaving Services to sidewalks on the City’s right-of-way at various locations within the City limits. Services shall be provided as requested by the City of Stockton Public Works Department. 2. The scope of services shall include but is not limited to work similar to that presented below: The City will provide Council District Areas throughout the contract period. As each phase is completed, the City and the vendor will compile additional locations as needed for cutting or shaving. The vendor will provide all labor, equipment, and incidentals to saw-cut / shave concrete sidewalk offsets that are between 0.25" to 2". Any existing sidewalk greater than 2" thick shall not be considered for saw-cutting or shaving. 3. Contractor shall inspect all identified areas to include location of displaced sidewalks, pre-construction survey photos, complete measurements of the displacement, and photo of the repaired sidewalk. The contractor shall provide this information in a format that is compatible with the City's GIS software.
