Specifications include, but are not limited to: We are seeking a provider who has oversight of psychotherapists in accordance with Chapter 60 “Article 1F 90-21.41 Definitions” as specified by North Carolina General Statutes. Traditionally, these mental health clinicians are Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Psychological Associates, Licensed Profession Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and other licensed related mental health fields including associate level (supervised) clinicians. Within this scope of work, these clinicians come in person to the facility at least three (3) times per week and provide virtual counseling all other days throughout the year (365 days in total). This service includes suicide prevention training, oversight and implementation, mental health individual and group counseling, providing court updates, providing staff consultation, training on mental health concepts with staff, therapeutic services for youth on the YDC side of the facility, and supports for young people such as writing clinical updates, attending Child and Family Team meetings and Service Planning Team meetings, and providing support for the health services team (including psychiatric consultation).
