Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Install all gages, meters, and resistance temperature devices in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. B. Install all gages in a location such that service personnel can easily read from the service floor. C. Pressure gages shall be isolated from the system with a ball style isolation valve. 1. A single gauge may serve multiple ports on a single piece of equipment (pump, coil, cooler, etc.) with the use of a valve manifold. Piping for manifolds may be soft copper or minimum 1/4” steel. 2. Pumps must utilize one gage with a 3-valve manifold connecting to the suction, discharge of the pumps and entering side of the pump strainer. D. Install ports for pressure gauges in the 3 o’clock position with pressure snubbers. E. Magnetic meter installation.
