Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor must be able to provide all original, genuine, and authorized replacement parts and components for vehicles and equipment manufactured and/or sold by the Ford Motor Company. 2. Bidder must be an authorized original equipment manufacturer dealer for Ford Motor Company automobiles and light trucks and operate a parts facility located within a thirty minute drive of the Equipment Maintenance Division Central Garage, 3800 Alvar St., New Orleans, LA 70126. 3. Bidder must be capable of stocking a large inventory assortment of Ford repair parts. 4. Contractor shall agree to deliver parts twice a day to the maintenance facility or other city agency, as needed and/or as requested. Stock orders shall be ordered and delivered on a next day basis, unless parts are not available at the nearest Ford Motor Parts depot. 5. Contractor shall honor all Ford Motor Company manufacturers’ warranties, defects and/or recalls on parts and components purchased and installed by the City. 6. Bidders shall quote their respective bids on the bid form provided using a percentage discount off the current Ford Motor Company’s manufacturers’ list price. (Example: -10.50%).
