Specifications include, but are not limited to: Line 1 – Quantity 800 Gallons of Live Fathead Minnow - 2.1 - The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the purchase and delivery of live fathead minnows (crappie size to adult, depending on need). 2.2 - Total quantity of up to 800 gallons as needed of live fathead minnows, crappie to adult size. Bid should be made in price per gallon and shall include delivery costs. If you cannot supply the full 800 gallons, please indicate number of gallons available. DNR does not guaranteed all requested 800 Gallon Live Fathead Minnow will be needed. DNR reserves the right to request more if needed. 2.3 – Live adult brood Fathead Minnows, divided into weekly or twice weekly loads of 100-200 gallons, depending on need and availability. 2.4 - Loads may be inspected and the DNR reserves the right to reject any load if invasive species are found. DNR may reject any load that does not meet specifications, or are in a condition where the likelihood of survival is low. A visual inspection will be used to verify health of the fish in each load. Notification to the DNR delivery contact must be made prior to delivery at the New London Hatchery with an estimated time of arrival. Delivery will be during regular business hours from Monday thru Friday 8 AM – 4 PM
