Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1. The intent of this RFP is to cover the removal of existing rotating assemblies within the Wilton Pump Station and delivery and installation of new rotating assemblies according to, or equivalent to, the specification provided in this RFP. Detailed specifications at Section 10 of this RFP (the “Specifications”) cover the requirements as to the type of equipment sought by the Town. 1.2. This includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing pump assemblies, removal of its components, installation of new assemblies, and installation of its components. 1.3. Bids will be considered only from vendors that have an established reputation for ethical and responsible business practices in the field of pump station equipment. 1.4. Each Bidder shall furnish satisfactory evidence of its ability to supply, service and repair the pump station rotating assemblies specified. Each Bidder shall also show that the company is in position to promptly furnish replacement parts within reasonable timeframes. 1.5. Preference will be given to Bidders that indicate that the rotating assemblies meeting all of the Specifications is in stock or ready for immediate delivery.
