Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor to provide the following services: 1.1 The Contractor will receive notification from the Gopher State One Call (GSOC) representative and will report to the location on the date and time indicated on the call ticket. The Contractor must attend all meetings requested by GSOC representatives. 1.2 The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment and vehicles necessary to respond to requests for location of utilities at State or Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) facilities and do so in a safe, timely and efficient manner. 1.3 The Contractor will locate and mark all state-owned or CPV-owned private utilities on a given site as directed by the Gopher State One Call’s (GSOC) representative. These utilities will include, but are not limited to, State-owned electric, communications, gas, water, tunnels, tanks and supply lines and sewer lines. All locations shall have a documented passive utility survey of the property included in the location request. 1.4 The Contractor will mark utilities with industry accepted symbols and paints in accordance with Minn. Stat. 216D and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard # Z535.1. 1.5 The Contractor will provide locating documentation as required by GSOC. Documentation shall include “as-built” plot, utilizing permanent landmarks as measuring points. A document with a plot ID and location using both measurements and directions shall be provided.
