Project includes constructing full Median U-Turn (MUT) J-turn intersection at Morrison County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 5/11 (Bear/Bison Road); removing existing median crossing and creating Rightin (RI), Right-out (RO) intersection at Morrison CSAH 16/CR 207; upgrading the existing median crossing west of Morrison CSAH 16/County Highway (CR) 207 to current roadway pavement thickness; extending left and right turn lanes at Morrison CSAH 5/11, Morrison CSAH 16/CR 207, and the existing crossover west of Morrison CSAH 16/CR 207; and constructing non-motorized user crossings at both Morrison CSAH 5/11 and Morrison CSAH 16/CR 207 2. Design lighting for each intersection per current standards. Photometrics must be reviewed as part of the lighting design. 3. Signing revisions. 4. Conduct utility coordination. 5. Review condition of all culverts within project limits and provide conditions report. 6. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements throughout the corridor. Must meet newest standards. 7. Traffic will be reduced to 1-lane during construction. Lane reductions must be minimized to the extent possible. SP 7305-132 (J-turn at TH 23 and Stearns CSAH 8 in Rockville) Project Overview 1. Project includes constructing full MUT J-turn intersection at Stearns CSAH 8, constructing concrete median on both legs of CSAH 8 as part of the J-turn intersection, and constructing a non-motorized user crossings at Stearns CSAH 8 2. Design lighting for the intersection per current standards. Photometrics must be reviewed as part of the lighting design. 3. Signing revisions. 4. Conduct utility coordination. 5. The Successful Responder must include design components for ¾ lefts off of TH 23 as part of the design and revisions to the existing TH 23 NB acceleration lane. Based on current information, ¾ lefts are not anticipated but MnDOT will be collecting additional information this Fall. 2. Design lighting for the intersection per current standards.
