The Stewart Road Bridge serves as a vital piece to the Stewart Road corridor and will alleviate the current bottleneck in the corridor to allow better traffic flow. The bridge will also support safe pedestrian movement across the bridge and connect to existing pedestrian facilities. This project replaces the existing two-lane bridge over the White River at Stewart Road. The new bridge will accommodate four lanes of traffic and a separate shared use path on the north side of the roadway. The adjacent intersections at Butte Avenue and 140th St Ct E will be modified to accommodate the new roadway grade and lane configurations.
