Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will provide the 12 cycles of Maritime Safety Drill Card (16-hours over 2-days) instructional training with one class cycle at the following locations: Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC) in Fairbanks, Anvil Mountain Correctional Center (AMCC) in Nome, Ketchikan Correctional Center (KCC) in Ketchikan, Lemon Creek Correctional Center (LCCC) in Juneau, Point Mackenzie Correctional Farm (PMCF) at Point Mackenzie, Spring Creek Correctional Center (SCCC) in Seward, Wildwood Correctional Center (WCC) in Kenai, Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center (YKCC) in Bethel, 2 class cycles at Palmer Correctional Center (PCC) in Sutton, and 2 class cycles at Goose Creek Correctional Center (GCCC) at Point McKenzie. Each class cycle will train a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 20 students. The course provides practical information on the survival equipment found on most commercial vessels and on conducting emergency onboard drills. Hands-on demonstrations and practice in survival equipment to satisfy USCG training requirements for fishing vessels, under 46 CFR 28.270(c), utilizing simulated drills.
