Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Perform field investigations, including but not limited to potholing, to verify all existing utilities. 2. Coordinate with various permitting agencies including, but not limited to, Department of Industrial Relations and the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (JPB). 3. Mobilization, demolition, traffic control, construction layout, notification, and incidentals. 4. Sheeting, shoring, and bracing for all trenching and excavation work in accordance with California Labor Code Section 6707. 5. Remove and replace existing Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP), ranging from 6” to 27” with new SDR 26 Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe (PVC) using open trench. 6. Remove and replace existing 15” Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) with new SDR 26 Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe (PVC) using trenchless installation for the JPB railroad crossing on Broadway (C4). 7. Remove and replace the existing 48” Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) with new SDR 26 Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe (PVC). 8. Furnish and install SDR 26 (PVC) fittings and connections. 9. Remove, dispose existing, and replace sanitary sewer manholes. 10. Furnish and install sanitary sewer service laterals, ranging from 4” to 8”. Actual service locations to be field verified. 11. Trenching, excavating, shoring, bracing, and dewatering as needed to complete installation of improvements. 12. Adjust existing City utilities (potable water, sanitary sewer, and storm) as needed to resolve utility conflicts. 13. Remove and replace existing AC pavement. 14. Restore existing pavement markings. 15. Conduct hydrostatic, CCTV, mandrel, and leakage test for acceptance. 16. Remove and replace existing concrete sidewalk, curb, gutter, and curb ramp as needed. 17. Landscape restoration including but not limited to grass lawn, plants etc.
