There are no agents or dealers authorized to represent this renewal product. This instrument model is currently installed and in use at the BCA Forensic Sciences Services laboratory in Bemidji. This request is for the purchase of the same instrument model for the BCA Forensic Science Services laboratories in St. Paul. Purchase of this particular instrument is necessary to ensure consistency between the laboratories, the original purchase was solicited on event # 2000012774 with a single respondent. A competitive process cannot be used because there are no other providers in the marketplace that can provide the consumables and hardware and software features needed to ensure consistency within and between laboratory facilities.
