The proposed project will improve stormwater infrastructure within the project limits, defined as follows: 36th Avenue N, between Xerxes Avenue N and Vincent Avenue N; Washburn Avenue N, between 35th Avenue N and 36th Avenue N; 35th Avenue N, between Washburn Avenue N and Russell Avenue N; Russell Avenue N, between 34th Avenue N and 35th Avenue N; and 34th Avenue N, between Washburn Avenue N and Queen Avenue N. This project’s primary focus is improving storm sewer infrastructure to reduce street and residential structure flooding, but will also include street cross section, pavement, stormwater management, and greenspace improvements. The project will not be required to meet Chapter 54 stormwater ordinance requirements, but all stormwater design components of the project will need to be fully documented in the Basis of Design Report.
