Specifications include, but are not limited to: In analyzing potential sources of compost generation, the contractor shall consider multiple scales and models, including: • Municipal/county composting programs • Community composting • Backyard composting • On-farm composting; The study will analyze the diverse settings, demographics, and needs of communities across New Mexico. In identifying and developing strategies, the contractor will consider key differences related to regionality, local capacity and resources, urban/rural population patterns, and impacts to traditionally underserved communities. The study will be informed to the maximum possible extent by stakeholder outreach and engagement across the state’s diverse communities.
