The scope of services will be negotiated with the successful respondent. However, it is expected that the Wastewater Facilities Plan will address these major areas of study over a 20-year planning period: • Define existing and future flows and loads. • Determine current and future unit process capacity. • Determination of performance and/or capacity deficiencies or problems. • Estimation of current and future needs. • Evaluation of alternatives to address needs. • Review of the Town's current Sewer Service Area Map and identify updates, if needed, to accommodate future sewer extensions and for consistency with the most recent State of CT and Town Plans of Conservation and Development. • Evaluation of Infiltration/Inflow (I/I) with recommendations to address concerns. • Evaluation of climate change resiliency. • Evaluation of energy efficiency. • Identification of grants and/or loans available to help defray project costs. • Develop a public participation program.
