Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project will redesign the existing configuration of the Mary Carter Greenway Trail underneath US-285, expand the width of the trail beyond seven feet, raise the trail to at or above the existing street grade, and design modifications to the existing cross section of South Platte River Drive to accommodate these improvements, which may include lane narrowing. The selected consultant will build upon the concepts and recommendations in the completed South Platte River Trail Under US-285 Design Concepts Study Technical Memorandum, complete preliminary and final design work, obtain required approvals from the City of Sheridan and CDOT, and provide general services in conjunction with the Project. The following tasks will be expected of the selected consultant: • Coordination of on-going meetings, monthly progress reports, and project schedule. • Prepare design drawings, including 30% (FIR), 90% (FOR), and final drawings. • Ensure compliance with applicable FHWA, CDOT, and City of Sheridan requirements. • Ensure compliance with federal standards including, but not limited to, NEPA. • Ensure technical specifications and standard details are prepared based on the latest CDOT standards and specifications. • Complete appropriate environmental study and any additional investigations. • Sourcing and management of any subconsultant services (e.g. enviro., survey, geotech., SUE, etc.) • Participate in, and represent the City at, FIR and FOR meetings with CDOT. • Obtain necessary approvals, permits, and permissions. • Prepare quantities and calculations for the Project. • Participate in advertisement for construction and bid opening.
