Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project is to remove a coal refuse (gob) pile eliminating the steep slopes within the project limits. The gob pile will be excavated and transported offsite to a coal wash plant located North of the town of Lonaconing, MD, owned by Ritchie Trucking & Excavating Inc. Silt and waste will be moved to expose the existing culvert pipe. The site will be graded to match the proposed contour elevations. An existing soil borrow pile on site will be used to cover the area. The access road to the gob pile off of Gold Run Road will be upgraded and maintained throughout construction as needed. A vehicle access gate will be constructed at the intersection of the access road and Gold Run Road. The access from Water Station Run Road shall be on the non-paved access road just south of Gold Run Road.
