Specifications include, but are not limited to: A) The Contractor will provide environmental services in support of Environmental Coordination Section (ECS), Division of Engineering (DOE), Department of Water Resources (DWR) assigned projects. Contractor will assist ECS in complying with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), environmental permitting and compliance work required by federal, State, and local environmental laws and regulations for project development, construction, environmental remediation work related to contaminated sites, and habitat restoration design for various projects in Northern California under the Environmental Coordination Section purview. Contractor will perform the following work on an as needed as directed basis in the geographical area identified in LOCATION OF WORK: 1. Provide professional and technical environmental services required for the scoping and preparation of all environmental documents and related supporting documentation required by CEQA environmental impact analysis, NEPA environmental assessment, or DWR’s internal environmental clearance processes as follows: a. Ensure compliance with CEQA/NEPA by preforming the following services: i. Data collection ii. Analysis of data iii. Use of modeling tools associated with: 1) Groundwater 2) Water quality 3) Noise 4) Geology 5) Seismicity 6) Agricultural resources 7) Air quality 8) Transportation 9) Climate change 10) Recreation areas 2. Provide assistance in preparation of f and/or filing of permit applications and related support documentation as follows: a. Draft applications b. Finalize applications c. Evaluate and determine permitting requirements, mitigation and negotiation strategies associated with: i. Wetland delineations ii. Habitat evaluations iii. Technical memoranda iv. Site assessments
